Don't be fooled by its appearance, this kit is surprisingly difficult to complete. 11 gauge (1/8 inch) steel is more difficult to weld open corner, and a slight slip on the fixturing will show in the final product.

Just more material sourced for when I am ready to learn (or Relearn) a welding process I haven't done for 50 years! What we know today as TIG welding used to be called Heli-Arc welding. A bit of the process has changed and so have I in the last 50 years!Once I practice on other items I can weld together and improve enough to share my work with others this will make a perfect small project with which I can showcase my polished up skills at TIG welding!I wanted something more than pieces of scrap metal to show to potential customers! I’m teaching my son how to weld and it’s a really nice kit to learn on. Good quality metal and easy to Weld.
I just bought a new Tig welder and I needed something to practice on. This cube project is fantastic. The metal is good quality and has very low impurities (easy to clean and weld). The metal is thick, which makes it easy to weld. And it looks really cool. Great gift for welders!!
good practice would buy more but they are pricey. I would buy again for sure
