  • Get Straight to the Good Stuff... Welding
  • Save Time Sourcing, Cutting and Preparing Practice Materials
  • Bend-it-Yourself Kit Eliminates the Need For Clamps and Magnets
  • Contains 2 Flat Pieces that Fold up and Weld into an almost 3 Inch Tall Dodecahedron! (Ball made of Pentagons)
  • Laser Cut in the USA with USA Steel... Because it Matters

Introducing a brand new type of welding kit: fixtureless, fold-it-yourself and completely free from cumbersome clamps and magnets. Just bend the flaps into place and weld. We are proud to bring you a whole new way to get straight to the good stuff... Welding!

We find using a bench vise and adjustable wrench works very well for precisely bending the kit into its dodecahedron (ball made with 12 pentagons) shape. We love that this kit has joints halfway between an open corner joint and an edge joint. After all, these kits are designed to increase your experience with a variety of welding joints and positions.

This kit has a little trick up its sleeve; welding the kerf or bend line gaps together will be very difficult with a wire feed welder. It's a perfect opportunity to break out the gas or TIG torch, or get really creative. You can also leave the bend lines unwelded, because they look pretty cool if you ask us!

Spoiler Alert: You’ll get out of it what you put it into it. Point Blank Period.

Received as a precious b-day gift from my wonderful old lady, was kinda nervous and unsure if I was up to the task or what would even come out of it. Started my welding and fabrication journey two months back, self taught from the ground up and having little to no experience, this was a super fun practice exercise to bang out with SMAW, running 7014’s. MIG or flux-core would have been far easier for my current skill level but stick was a fun challenge to dial in settings on thin material and see what I could grind out. Folding was cake; use a vice and hand strength and you’ll get er cranked up in no time. No need to bevel or grind edges to achieve a clean fit-up with the precise laser cut pieces. CNA is frigggin legit and worth every penny!! Also note, the set I received was closer to 12ga than 11ga, but now we’re literally splitting hairs. Had such a blast that I couldn’t help but order a second set before I was even done welding this one up. You receive two pieces of raw unfinished steel, zero directions, and the pathways of how to approach transforming them are infinite. Shout out to my old lady, RabbitGoddess, for hooking me up with this sweet and thoughtful b-day gift!! Nuff said, happy smelting.Love and viiibes from your favorite metallic booger bandit!!#arcsarelitty#arcsrus#boneofarc

Made a Lamp

Bought this as a project for my friends seven year old who wanted to learn to weld. Decided it would be fun to make it a lamp. Drilled some holes to let more light out. Installed RGB LED strip battery powered for the lighting. Will be ordering another one to work on myself. Great quality, kind of expensive, but worth it.

Fun kit that I got as a gift. I might have to get a few more. 🧑‍🏭 Mathematically, the shape is a dodecahedron, but it reminded me of that scene in Return of the Jedi.In a complete surprise to absolutely nobody at all, welding the seams was the easiest part. Prep (cleaning, bending), fixturing, and tacking took more time. But you take your time on the setup so you can weld efficiently and get it right the first time.Welded with 0.030 flux core, 220ipm, 140A 17.2V

Very cool and a blast to dial in a new welder!

These are great little kits to practice welding and getting a new welder dialed in, which was my case. I got a Hobart Handler 140 and using c25, I had a blast welding on this thing! I would like to find something like this in a thinner material (16-18ga.) though so I can get set up for sheet metal. I will buy more of these though, they are awesome!
